Summerhouse Boban was built in 1974. In the small Island Ciovo near the historical town Trogir which is connected with a bridge.

Architect was Frano Gotovac, one of the most famous architects in Split and Croatia.

The idea was that this house is a weekend house only for relaxation and hedonism.

He finds inspiration in Mexican hacienda so all living requirements are inside of the house. House has an outdoor space with a dining zone, relax zone, outdoor showers, gardens with mediterranean plants (lavender, agava, cactus ...) and trees (olives, lemons, orange...)

Inside on the ground floor is the kitchen and inside dining zone. Also here are 3 beds, so this is an open space living and sleep area.

Upper on the middle floor is one bedroom, toilet and shower, and also an open zone - Atrium with one more kitchen and concrete table.

On the upper terrace we have a relaxation zone with sunbeds and shower.

In front of the house is a parking place for cars and motors.

The sea is 50 m far away with a beautiful beach all with the big rocks.

 

All materials in the house are very natural, concrete, wood, linen, terracotta, clay...
